Mary Kate is 1 Month Old

Where did a month go? Sweet Mary Kate is 1 month old! She is a very snuggly baby. She is sleeping most of the day still. She takes anywhere from 2-3oz every 3 hours. She is a content baby. One major difference with Mary Kate is that she actually likes her car seat. She will instantly fall asleep once you have driven around for more than 5 minutes. It's amazing! I never knew a car ride with a baby could be enjoyable. ;) She is still in newborn gowns and 0-3month sleepers. Mary Kate has a few more rolls than Anne Cambria. She is so sweet and we am loving every minute with her!

Dentist

Anne Cambria had her first trip to the dentist yesterday. She has had all of her "first" teeth since her first birthday, but I waited until her 2nd molars started to cut through to bring her. We are using Trice Sumner at the Children's Dental Clinic. She loved playing with all of the toys while we waited. Dr. Sumner looked at all of her teeth and "cleaned" a few of them. Anne Cambria squirmed and fussed a little bit but overall she did great! I am happy to report she had no cavities! She got several stickers and a balloon for being such a great patient! We'll see Dr. Sumner again in 6 months!

Mary Kate's First Bath

Mary Kate had her first real bath last night. We had been doing the "sponge bath" for a while because I was waiting for her belly button area to be completely healed. She is just like her Granny.....she LOVES taking a bath. I bought a new bath "tub" flower for the sink and she loves it. I didn't have this with Anne Cambria. She may have enjoyed bath time more the first few weeks if we had had this. Mary Kate definitely enjoys it! Here is our little bath tub baby! :)

 

One Week Old

Sweet Mary Kate is one week old! She is sleeping and eating fine so far. She is getting breast milk and formula. She is eating every 2-3hours and sleeps pretty much the entire day. She has started to wake up for about 20minutes at a time. After this post, I will be going to "monthly" posts. Life with two is busy! :)

Gymnastics

Or as Anne Cambria calls it "nastics". We started a "mommy and me" gymnastics class last Thursday. It is 20 minutes and Anne Cambria loves it! Two of our little friends are in their, Anne Bailey and Tatum. It is going to be a lot of fun. Anne Cambria looks so grown up in her leotard. It makes me sad. :( But I know she is having a blast!
