Summer Heat

It has been SO hot in Mississippi already. It is only May. Geeeez! I bought this a few weeks ago for Anne Cambria, but at this rate, there may be a Mommy laying in this splash pad too!

Our Latest Obsession....

Our new stroller! Anne Cambria LOVES her new baby doll stroller. It is a cheap stroller from Wal-mart, and it is by far one of her most favorite toys yet. She takes it EVERYWHERE. We have even put it on a bar stool next to her highchair. It's gone in the car with us and it has even sat on the couch with us while reading. She has strolled no less than 100 miles. It is the cutest thing!

Playdates

We love when we get together with our friends for a playdate! Anne Cambria is finally to the age where she can actually play! Molly came over twice in April to play and it was so cute to see them interact. They are destined to be BFFs (like it or not ha!).

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day this year. We started the day with church, then lunch with Gran and Grandaddy at Harvey's. Sunday afternoon we lounged around and enjoyed some relaxation. Sunday night my parents came over and we grilled out. All in all, a perfect day. Anne Cambria is such a happy and easy baby. I thank God every day for the blessing and responsibility of being her mother. She is the picture of perfection. :)

My Little Chatter Box

Anne Cambria has really started talking in the last two months. She can say around 50 words or so and has said two "phrases" thus far. She is going to be a "talker" like her Daddy. :) Here is a peak at her vocabulary at 17 months of age (these are in addition to the words from our previous post):
