Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year. We had our usual lunch at the Burks house and a late dinner with the Barrows side. Great Granny has moved from Kosciusko to Tupelo at Avonlea, so that was nice having her here the whole time. However, this year my sister and her crew (minus Paxton) were at Disney World on Thanksgiving day, so it was as small crowd Thanksgiving night. And we did it at my house! Paxton and Anne Cambria played together and had a fun time! You could tell poor Paxton was beginning to miss his family. We are so thankful to have such wonderful families that we both love spending time with.

Trunk or Treating

This was Anne Cambria's 2nd year to "Trick or Treat". Last year she wasn't old enough to have any candy, but this year she got to indulge!!! We went to our church's Trunk or Treat instead of braving our neighborhood. Spring Lake is a dumping ground for the entire city when it comes to Halloween and trick or treating. We have found it's better to put some candy on the front steps and leave the neighborhood. So we headed to FUMC for a great night! We teamed up with First Presbyterian and All Saints Episcopal Church for our Trunk or Treat. We had a whole street blocked off with cars full of candy and games for the kids. Anne Cambria had a blast! We met up with our BFFs, the Masseys. The girls looked so precious! Anne Cambria was a pig and Molly was a kitty cat! We ran into our cousins, Thomas, Lyla Claire, and Paxton and another good friend Anne Bailey! :) After a couple hours of trunk or treating we headed to Gigi and Grandaddy's house. They had some yummy treats for Anne Cambria. After that we headed home and then Granny came by with Anne Cambria's "treat" bag. We had a great night! Halloween is a lot more fun when you get to watch your child enjoy it! :)

31week Preganancy SHOCKER

Today I am 30weeks and 6 days along with this pregnancy. We had a 3D/4D ultrasound two weeks ago and Mary Katherine was not the most cooperative for her first set of pictures. We got a few good ones but she keep both of her arms in front of her face for the most part. However, we did get a good measurement and she was about 5-6days ahead of schedule according to the sonogram. But we didn't see Dr. Webb that day because we were only there for a recreational 3D/4D. Well, today we found out she is now measuring TWO WEEKS ahead of schedule. The sonogram has my due date as DECEMBER 30!!! Anne Cambria was not a big baby. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and when we left the hospital she was down to 6lbs 12oz. This baby girl is going to be a chunk! But I find it weird because I am 6lbs lighter at this point in my pregnancy than I was with Anne Cambria. Dr. Webb said he wasn't concerned yet. He is going to do another sonogram at 36weeks to see if she is still measuring ahead. Sonograms can be up to 1lb +/- either direction, so she may actually only be a few days ahead of schedule. He did pretty much confirm he will induce me on January 3rd if I haven't gone on my own by then. So, with all that being said, I am getting in high gear with her nursery and Anne Cambria's new playroom. Needless to say Johnny and I were SHOCKED to hear Mary Katherine will be here so soon!! :)
