Thanksgiving 2013

We had a very nice Thanksgiving this year. We started with Thanksgiving lunch at the Burks on Sunday so great granny could be with us. It was great to see all of Johnny's family. They are so much fun. Then on Thursday, we had lunch at Woody's with Gigi, Grandaddy and Uncle Davis. The food was ok, but the company was even better. :) For dinner Thanksgiving night we headed over to Granny and Big Daddy's house. My sister and her family were there too! After we had a wonderful meal, Granny had all the grandchildren decorate a kiddy Christmas tree. It was so sweet. Anne Cambria loved it! Then we headed home to finish watching the Egg Bowl. Ole Miss came up with a big fat LOSS this time, but it's always anybody's game. There is no predicting the Egg Bowl (especially when your offense plays like crap). Anyways, there was still much to be thankful for! I'll always yell Hotty Toddy and I will never ring a cowbell so those two things alone made the loss tolerable. ;) We had so much fun visiting with family and eating a lot of great food! Gobble Gobble!!

FUMC Thanksgiving Program- Nov 21, 2013

This was Anne Cambria's first year to participate in the Fall Thanksgiving Program at FUMC Preschool. Anne Cambria's class dressed up as Indians. We LOVED watching our little Indian. She had been practicing her songs for a couple weeks. Her class sang "One little, Two little, Three little Indians", "We eat Turkey", and "If you are thankful and you know it". I figured Anne Cambria would not sing once she got on stage, but surprisingly she did! She even did most of the motions. It was such a precious program and it was SO much having a little one participating in it. Here is my little performer in action. :)

Happy 30th Birthday Johnny

My sweet hubby turned the big 3-0! We started celebrating a few days before with dinner with our parents at the Grill! The food was yummy and the cake by Mary McGuire was delicious! On his actual birthday we had his favorite dinner, shrimp poboys and cole slaw and then more birthday cake from Mary McGuire. That following Friday night, we took a limo from Tupelo to Oxford to have dinner and drinks with some of Johnny's closest guy friends and their wives/girlfriends. It was a blast!! It was also nice have 2 other pregnant/non-drinking ladies along too. Johnny had a great time and I was so happy! He deserved a fabulous birthday! :)

Mary McGuire out did herself on this one!

Anne Cambria was "helping" blow out the candles ha!

Happy Halloween-2013

Halloween was super fun this year. Anne Cambria was really in to it and Mary Kate was super cooperative with her costume head piece. :) Anne Cambria was Cinderella and Mary Kate was a lamb. They were suppose to be Little Bo Peep and a sheep, but Anne Cambria INSISTED she was being Cinderella, so the day before Halloween I ran all over town looking for Cinderella shoes and luckily I found some. So all was well and both girls looked precious!
I am so sad it rained this year because Trunk or Treat was cancelled. :( However, the weather did clear off around 6:30 and we were able to trick or treat to several houses before the night was over. We made our first stop at Granny and Big Daddy's house then headed to the Burks. After a few more houses we realized it was 8:15 and Mary Kate was starting to let us know that it was way too close to bedtime. So, after a quick, fun night of trick or treating we headed home. Anne Cambria loved sorting through her candy. She took out several things she didn't like and said "here Daddy, you can have these"! HA!

Mary Kate is 10months Old

Wow! 10 months with my sweet baby girl has already flown by. She is just the happiest and easiest going baby. Mary Kate is sleeping from 8:30pm-7:45am"ish" and is still taking two naps a day. Her morning nap is only about 45 minutes and her afternoon nap is still 2+ hours. She has two teeth on the bottom and her top front two teeth are starting to bulge. She chews on everything! Mary Kate can stand on her own and is "cruising" on all the furniture. She started clapping on Nov 5 and it is so cute. She loves to clap for herself! :) She still eats well and we are down to only a nighttime bottle. However, she does get formula in her sippy cup during the day. Mary Kate LOVES to swing and she loves to follow every step that her sister takes. It is precious to watch. She still doesn't like getting her diaper changed but that is because she has to be still and that is definitely one of her least favorite things; being still. She likes to go on strolls and she is forward facing in the car seat now. I couldn't take it anymore. :) Mary Kate isn't saying any "real" words yet. She says dada, mama and several sounds but no official words. I still cannot believe I have started planning her one year birthday party. Hurts my soul. :(

Recap:
Sleeps from 8:30pm-8:00am
Naps: 10:00am-11:00am and 2:30pm-4:30pm

Likes: crawling everywhere, bath time, following Big Sis around, watching Baby Einstein and trying to "eat" Play Doh
Dislikes: putting her in her room with the baby gate closed

Favorite foods: cheese, grilled chicken, spaghetti, yogurt, mandarin oranges, peaches, strawberries, peas, green beans, bananas, Goldfish, cheerios and waffles

Always on the move!

"Who are you looking at??"

Loves watching Baby Einstein

"Let me out of this crib!"

Halloween Party at FUMC-2yr Old Room

Anne Cambria had her first real school Halloween party and it was so much fun. I wasn't working so I went and "helped out". I basically just took a bunch of pictures. :) I love being able to go and be apart of my children's preschool activities. Anyways, Anne Cambria was her favorite princess, Cinderella, for Halloween. She was suppose to have been Little Bo Peep because I had the lamb/sheep costume from when she was a baby and Mary Kate was a sheep. But my strong willed almost 3yr old had other plans and that was to be Cinderella. So, she won and she was a PRECIOUS Cinderella. :) Their class had cupcakes and snacks and then went "trick or treating" throughout the preschool. They had so much fun! Anne Cambria had a sack full of candy to show me when I picked her up that afternoon.

Ready for the Party!
