7 Weeks

On Thursday, Anne Cambria was 7 weeks old. Where does the time go? I still can't believe my pregnancy went by as fast as it did....I just hope her life doesn't go by that fast too. Anyways, when I got home from rotation Thursday, Anne Cambria was in the BEST mood. She was laughing and smiling and "talking" her little head off. So naturally I had to grab the camera! We had about a 2 hour long photo shoot. She is so precious when she smiles and laughs but it is so quick now that it is hard to catch on camera. However I did snap a few smiles. Enjoy! :)

Wedding Weekends

I love wedding weekends. It is always a great time to catch up with some of my best friends and we always seem to have a fabulous time. The past weekend was so much fun! Ashleigh and Chris tied the knot and it was such a fun weekend. Ashleigh was a beautiful bride, the food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the company was even better! :) My little long, lost Memphian Rachael was in town.....yay! It's always good to visit with her. She got to come by and see Queen Anne for a little while. She hadn't seen her since the night she was born. The entire weekend was so fun. I miss going out and seeing everybody, but it is so nice to come home and snuggle up with my sweet Anne Cambria. Speaking of my sweet baby girl, she is getting so big. We go for her 2 month checkup February 8, and I am so anxious to see how much she weighs. She is getting so animated. She grins and giggles and it is just so cute. When she is doing her "tummy" time, she rocks and kicks her feet so hard. She really wants to go somewhere, but just isn't quite ready ha! I started back at the hospital Monday for rotation. I am on the CCU and stroke unit. I was sort of ready to go back, but then again I do miss my baby. However, I am extremely blessed because my fabulous mother-in-law and mother are keeping her during the day for me. So that made it MUCH, MUCH easier to go back. I do not see how people can drop 6wk old babies off at daycares. I would have been hysterical......absolutely hysterical. But, I am blessed and extremely thankful that I have two fabulous grandmothers to take care of her for the next 3 months! :) I will upload some pictures from the past couple weeks later on!

Snow Angel

So, I felt a little out of the blog loop not posting a "snow day post" so here is ours! I know I have said this before, but Anne Cambria is just a little snow angel. It snowed the day we brought her home from the hospital, it snowed her first Christmas and we had a winter storm within 5 weeks of her birth! She has brought us not only love and joy, but a winter full of snow! :) She was way too little to enjoy the snow, but we did get a few pictures in it.

1 Month Old

On January 9, Anne Cambria was one month old! I found the cutest "monthly onesie stickers" on Etsy.com. I saw on Angelia's blog what I thought were monthly onesies, but she told me they were stickers and they were a baby gift and she didn't know where they came from. So, the hunt was on! I looked EVERYWHERE in Tupelo that I could think of. And with no luck, I found them online after googling every phrase I could possibly think of. And, the guy shipped them to me the next morning (Thursday) AND I got them late Saturday afternoon, JUST in time for her one month birthday ha! :) I cannot believe she is already one month old! Here are some pictures from her birthday photo shoot.

Mississippi Winters

So, every year I complain that it is never "cold" in MS during December and January....well this year Mother Nature has definitely made me eat those words. We were suppose to be in our new house toward the end of January (like around the 20th). However, with the weather we have had this winter, it is looking like the middle of February now. It is so maddening that we always have mild winters and then the one year we are building a house it is 30 degrees every day. Ohhh well, I guess I need to learn patience. I'll update with pictures later. :)

Jill Carter Photography

So, a few posts ago I put up some of Anne Cambria's newborn photos. The photographer we used was Jill Carter out of Oxford. On Monday she emailed me a link with the rest of Anne Cambria's photos and I cannot express how pleased I am with all of them (all 128 to be exact). I do not even know where to begin ordering them. I could order an 8x10 of each one ha! But this post is basically just a recommendation to anyone who is expecting a baby or has children. She is so great to work with and was so accomodating. Her work is absolutely precious and I highly recommend her. Here is the link to Jill Carter Photography.

Christmas 2010

This year Christmas was extra special having Anne Cambria here. It was her first Christmas and a white Christmas. It snowed the day we brought her home from the hospital, so it was only fitting that our little Queen get a white Christmas too! We think of her as a little snow angel. :) She is an absolute blessing and we are so thankful to finally have her here. We did our normal Christmas rounds.....Christmas Eve at my parent's and Christmas day/afternoon at Johnny's parents. It is so nice having both families in the same town. We had gotten so tired of packing up for 3-4 days, loading presents and dogs and having to drive from Oxford to Tupelo or Jackson to Tupelo. We are super excited to be back in the same town as our family and friends. Here are a few pictures from Christmas.

Newborn Photos

When Anne Cambria was 5 days old, we had Jill Carter from Oxford come to Gran's house (since we are in our apartment still) and take her newborn photos. She is such a talented photographer. I have only gotten back 10 proofs, but they are absolutely precious. I can't wait to see the rest of them! Here is a sneak peak at our little angel.
