Mary Katherine's Baby Shower

My sister, Kristen Tucker, Melanie Moore and Mary Frances Massey hosted Mary Katherine and me a very sweet baby shower this past Sunday, October 28. :) It was so nice and I am so thankful to have friends that are as excited about Mary Katherine's arrival as I am. She got some super cute stuff and some necessities that we needed! I cannot believe I am in the third trimester and the beginning of January is right around the corner! She will be here before we know it!

Pumpkin Head

Last year Gigi made the cutest knit pumpkin hat and Anne Cambria was very reluctant to leave it on for more than 10 seconds. This year she actually left it on! So of course I had to snap some cute pictures of our little pumpkin head. :)

She didn't know I was watching her at this point.......

St. Peter's Episcopal Church-Pumpkin Picking

We took Anne Cambria to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Oxford last week to their annual pumpkin patch. Oxford is special to our family. Not only did Johnny and I both graduate from Ole Miss, but we spent our first year as newlyweds living in Oxford. I love football game weekends in Oxford and shopping on the Square never disappoints. I cannot wait for Anne Cambria to enjoy college life in Oxford. We let her pick out two large pumpkins and 5 little pumpkins to take home and carve! She loved it. It was so funny because she would sniff each pumpkin before she would decide if she liked it or not ha! We picked out our pumpkins, snapped some pictures and then headed over to Holli's Sweet Tooth candy shop for a treat. That was an even bigger hit. As most of you know, Anne Cambria is a candy feign! She gets it honestly though. Johnny has a candy jar in our pantry at home. I swear they are clones of each other! :)

iPhone Blogging

I think this may be useful for uploading my iPhone pictures. I can't ever seem to get them to cooperate on my laptop. Here are some pictures of Queen Anne lately!

26 weeks and 5 days-Glucose Test

So I am rounding out the second trimester and got to take the yummy glucose tolerance test. I am 26 weeks and 5 days today! I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! I passed my glucose test the first time! Yay! I passed it with Anne Cambria as well, but since this pregnancy has been anything but similar to hers, I was just going to go ahead and prepare myself to fail. All my other lab work was great except my hemoglobin was a bit low. But it wasn't low enough to start any additional vitamins or supplements. I had another VScan sonogram. :) I asked Dr. Webb if he thought I was persuasive or spoiled, and he said both! HA! Anyways, Mary Katherine is still head down, but she has turned and her feet are now right under my ribs. How pleasant! I am going back on Oct 19 for my 3D/4D ultrasound. I will be 29 weeks! I cannot wait to see her sweet face. I am wondering if she will look like me or Johnny. I'll go ahead and guess Johnny! ;)

First Trip to the Zoo

We took Anne Cambria to the Memphis Zoo. The day started out a bit chilly, but ended up being perfect! We got there around 11:00 and stayed until 2:00! I am glad we waited to take her until now because she was able to name literally every animal we saw. If she had been much younger, I don't think she would have enjoyed it as much. The train was under repair, so we didn't get to ride the train so we will definitely be going back soon! Her favorite exhibits were the pandas, penguins, zebras and giraffes! Of course we had to stop and get a stuffed panda in the gift shop on the way out. She loved it!

And we're here!

More concerned about people watching :)
