Christmas Day-2013

After playing with all of the toys Santa brought, we changed out of our pajamas and headed over to Gigi and Granddaddy's house for more food and presents! Anne Cambria got the cutest big wheelie! It is so funny to watch her ride it. The girls got matching rolling suitcases too. They are precious! Mary Kate got lots of fun stuff too! After Anne Cambria insisted on "helping" everyone open their presents, we had a fantastic lunch courtesy of Gigi! We are so blessed to be surrounded by our families!

Christmas Morning-2013

Anne Cambria and Mary Kate woke up Christmas morning to find that Santa had definitely stopped at our house! The girls had been very good this year! :) Anne Cambria got everything on her list. She actually had a pretty short list: Dream Castle, Disney Princess Castle, Hair Salon/Beauty Salon. And thankfully, Santa brought all three things, plus many more! Anne Cambria kept going up to her Dream Castle and saying "Oh look! It's just perfect! It's beauuuuutiful!". It made me so happy to see the joy on her face. She also got a Radio Flyer scooter. I was a bit skeptical about it, but she absolutely loves it. It turned out to be one of her favorite gifts!

Mary Kate got some great stuff too! Santa brought the cutest Vtech train and a really cute bookshelf that matches her big sister's. She got several new books for her bookshelf and a really fun vanity/makeup mirror.

Christmas Eve-2013

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve! We spent it at Granny and Big Daddy's house with my sister and her family. We headed over to Granny and Big Daddy's house around 4:00pm and we started with opening presents. After all the kids had opened their gifts, we had a delicious dinner! Props to Granny. After dinner, the "adults" opened their gifts. Once everyone had opened gifts, we had a small birthday party of Jesus. Granny had a birthday cake made for baby Jesus. It was sweet to watch the kids sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. :) After cake and ice cream, we loaded up and headed home.

Once we were home, the girls took their bathes and then it was time to get ready for Santa! Anne Cambria made some reindeer food for the reindeer and then she put out cookies for Santa and his elves. It was precious to see her excitement. After that, we read "T'was the Night Before Christmas" and went to bed. We couldn't wait to see what all Santa would bring! ;)

Christmas with the Burk Family

Today we had Christmas with Johnny's extended side of the family. We went to his Aunt Lisa's house this year since Gigi hosted Thanksgiving. Great Granny was able to come since her sitter drove her from Kosciusko. Two of Johnny's cousins were able to come, plus two of their children. It was good for Anne Cambria to have kiddos her own age to play with. Uncle Davis was in town and Mary Kate seems to be fascinated with him lately! :) The food was delicious as usual and the girls loved opening presents. We are so thankful for Holidays with our family!
