My sweet Mary Kate had been battling a recurrent ear infection since the beginning of February. So, after trying 4 oral antibiotics and an IM injection, we went to see Dr. Ryan Simmons at ENT. He was fabulous and we were scheduled for tubes two days later. Mary Kate did great with the procedure and her recovery was easy! She still had fluid on both ears and the right ear was infected at the time of the procedure. Within 24hours she was fever free and her ears were draining. Praise the Lord! So far, this has been the best decision. She is a different child with tubes. Much happier and fever free! So glad to have our happy Mary Kate back! :)
