Lately...........

It has been a busy few weeks/weekends. We had a great time at Paul and Bonnie's "Stock the Bar" party a few weekends ago. The next night we went to Haley and Warren's wedding. Haley was such a beautiful bride. The next day we headed to Destin for a great vacation. We had such a great and relaxing time.
Here are a few pictures from the week.

Once we were back from the beach it was back to work for Johnny and I actually started packing for our move to Jackson. For the 4th, we spent Saturday afternoon and evening at my parent's house with them and about 10 other adults and 15 children under that age of 10. My dad bought a TON of fireworks. Somehow Johnny and I got put in charge of shooting them. It literally took us almost 2 hours to shoot them all. They were incredible! We put Ballard Parks' firework show to shame (and I am really not kidding). The kids had a BLAST and we did too. Now, this week I have been in full packing/organizing mode and we are getting ready for the "big move". Hopefully it'll be a smooth transition. Say a quick prayer for us if ya think about it! :)

I'll post pictures from the 4th of July later this week!

the Summer has Just Begun

It is halfway through June and we have been having a blast! This past weekend we spent it staying in Tupelo at Natty and Brian Ellis' new house. It is so cute and Natty has decorated it so well. It is fabulous! We had a party for Bonnie and Paul on Friday night and then we grilled out for Natty's birthday Saturday night. We had so much fun staying with them all weekend. This week has been pretty busy as well. Johnny had a POA meeting in Atlanta and I have been running errands and planning for the big move to Jackson! We finally decided on a house and I am going to start packing soon....hopefully. :) On Wednesday, Thomas and I went to Chick-fila by ourselves and we had such a fun time. He is so adorable and he loves his aunt Chanel. Here are some pics from the past few days!

Where did the first year go??

I cannot believe that Johnny and I have been married for an entire year already. Time flies when you are having fun! To celebrate our 1 year anniversary, we spent Thursday through Sunday in New Orleans. Johnny surprised me by having us stay at the Ritz Carlton. It was fabulous. We hung out with our favorite New Orleans couple, Hardie and Lacy, on Thursday and Friday night. We had dinner at Mr. B's Bistro Friday night, and might I add that is was FABULOUS. It was one of the best meals that I have ever had in New Orleans. On Saturday we went to Catherine Irwin and Gray Silva's wedding. It was so pretty and a great time! Johnny also surprise me with a diamond wedding band to go with my other one. I LOVE IT! It was the perfect anniversary gift. On Sunday we headed to Tupelo for Dr. Burk's 60th Birthday and Birthday Party. Johnny, Me, his parents and about 30 close friends celebrated this great occasion. Now, Johnny is back at work and I am enjoying my summer off.

Always on the Go!

So I thought that once finals were over that things would calm down and I could finally relax and catch up on sleep....wrong! Finals were over Friday, May 8. That night we went to the baseball game with Ben and Kory and then went to dinner at Papitos for yummy mexican food and margaritas. The next Saturday was graduation. I received my BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, so now I have a B.A. and a B.S., next is the Doctorate!! Whoop Whoop! After graduation Johnny, my parents, and I went to Memphis. I did some serious retail therapy and then we had a fabulous dinner at Folks Folly. It is one of my favorite restaurants ever! Then on Sunday we headed to Tupelo for Lyla Claire's baby dedication and Mother's Day lunch with my mom. So, needless to say that was a busy weekend but I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Last Monday I started my rotation at Jim Bain's Pharmacy. I am in my last week there and it has been a blast. I had forgotten how fun it is to work at Jim Bain's. This past weekend I went on a great lunch date with my girlfriends and then we had Bonnie and Paul's engagement party. After the engagement party we headed to Romie's. It was such a fun, fun night. Then Sunday afternoon, when Johnny finished with his golf tournament, we headed back to Oxford. Now, I have 4 days left at Jim Bain's and we are headed to Jackson Friday to look at some homes we are possibly going to rent......2 months and we will be in Jackson. Eeeeek!
Pictures from the past few weekends will be posted soon....gotta get them off my camera first ha!
