Life Update :)

For those of you that don't believe it when people say "a baby completely changes your life"....take my word for it. Anne Cambria has completely taken charge of our house and we love it! She is the most content and happy baby. She is "talking" constantly now. She has almost complete control of her head/neck and we have advanced to the bumbo seat as of a week ago. She has conquered her mini push-ups and when we stand her up on her legs, she "bounces" up and down. Or she will do this little sway type motion too. Johnny calls it her hula dance ha! She went for her two month check up on February 8 and she did perfect! She was 11lb 2oz and 22 3/4 in. We got all of our vaccines and she wasn't even fussy. I attribute that to the pre-treatment of Tylenol an hour before the shots and every 4 hours for 24hours. She was 2 months on February 9 and I need to upload the pictures from our photo shoot. Anne Cambria's sleeping habits are fabulous....she naps every day from around 9-11:30ish and then again from 1-4:30ish. Bath time is promptly at 8:30 and she is out for the count by 9:30 every night. And praise the Lord, she sleeps from 9:30pm to 4:30am EVERY NIGHT! Then goes back down til around 8am. We are TRULY blessed to have such a good sleeper....most of my readers know that I do not function well with little sleep. ;)

On another note, wedding season festivities are in full force. We have had 3 engagement parties in the last 5 weeks and its only going to pick up! There are at least 5 weddings this year and I am sure some other happy couples will join the club. Engagement parties are always fun though. Good food, drinks and friends....what better way to spend a Saturday night!? :)

House update: we are on the ONE MONTH countdown! YAY! The weather has literally put us 7 full weeks behind. We were suppose to move in the weekend of January 29, but with two "big" snows, two weeks where the temp barely creeped above 40 degrees and a nice "ice" on the roads a couple times, we managed to get 7 weeks behind. But I think mother nature actually knew best because we are moving in the weekend before my spring break from rotation, so I will have from Thursday to the following Sunday (10 full days) to unpack and get settled. So, I think it has actually been a blessing in disguise.

Anywho, I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend.....I will update with pictures soon!
